Wedding Officiant Services

Too often, couples put all of their time and financial resources into planning and paying for the wedding reception. They treat the hiring of the officiant as an afterthought and regard the ceremony as lttle more than a warmup to the big party. It is my belief that great music, beautiful flowers and delicious food are supporting actors to the star of your day; your ceremony. Your ceremony represents much more than “20 minutes of work”. It is the official act that joins you in marriage and lays the foundation for your lives together and therefore deserves as much, if not more, care and attention in the planning stages as does the reception.

Since no two weddings are the same it is not feasible for me to offer a cut and dried pricing schedule, however I offer fees that fit any budget and realistically reflect the level of service involved in each category of ceremony. Please call me with the specifics of your wedding and I will provide you with the specific fee for my service.

The Authentic Love Story: Unlimited number of guests, same day, pre-ceremony run through if requested, custom written ceremony including vows written by couple , keepsake wedding certificate, printed copy of your ceremony and one ceremony enhancement from the list below, up to three hours of service as needed. Full Rehearsal Option: The full rehearsal option may be added to all above packages except the elopement for an additional fee of 50% of the wedding ceremony. It’s been my experience that most wedding planners are quite capable of conducting the rehearsal and in many cases the celebrant s not necessary.

The following ceremony enhancements may be added to your wedding ceremony. Choose from Bread and Salt Ceremony, Handfasting, Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Wine Ceremony, Jumping The Broom, The Knot Ceremony, Jewish Glass Breaking, African Presentation of The Gifts, African Tasting of The Four Elements, Signing of The Interfaith Ketubah; other ceremonies may also be added.

A reservation fee 50% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 28 days prior to the ceremony. If the final balance is not paid by the due date a $25.00 late fee will apply. Late payments may only be made by credit card.
